Hello.
I'm Oliver Simões and I've been
working on and off as a Portuguese translator since college graduation in 1984. I have a
Bachelor of Letters degree in Translation and
Interpretation from Unibero in São Paulo, Brazil. I've been involved in many Portuguese translation projects and
my list of satisfied clients includes: Franklin Mutual Funds, Editora Abril, Up With People, and the Government of Angola.
I have a Master's in TESL
from the University of Arizona.
I'm a native speaker of
Portuguese and I also speak English and Spanish. I was a
language instructor for several years both in Brazil and the
USA. I have a great deal of experience in business, web design,
online marketing, e-commerce, and writing/editing. Currently, I work at
Assistech as a Portuguese Translator and Project Manager. Along with our growing network of
